Conference Layout

  • MICU Sign-out & Tumor Board is encouraged
  • 2 QI/Research Conferences
  • Radiology Conferences (We attend Radiology lead conferences as well as have our own radiology case conference every month.)
  • Pulmonary/Pathology Conference will occur on the 3rd Friday every month.
  • M&M Case Conference
  • Pulmonary & Critical Care Medicine Grand Rounds – this will be presented by 2 fellows, one topic showcasing 2 sides
  • Critical Care Journal Club / Pulmonary & Critical Care Journal Club – Pro- Con Debate (CCM & PCCM will rotate every other month; 2 fellows present)

Conference Attendance

Policy: The educational conferences are important. The planned didactics exceed the minimum
requirement for conference-based educational experience.

All fellows are required to attend at least 80% of the conferences.


Attendance Tracking: Conference attendance is tracked independently by the fellow scanning a
QR coded provided in person and virtual for the attending via TEAMs. The program manager
will run monthly reports to notify you of your monthly attendance percentage and your overall
attendance percentage. If you miss a conference or forget to sign in for conference it is up to
you to notify the program manager so your attendance can be updated.
