Research Opportunities
The WVU neurosurgery residency program focuses on innovation and training future leaders and innovators in our field. Residents are encouraged to participate in research, but also gain meaningful research skills, to allow them to be academic contributors directly out of graduation. Resident-faculty collaboration is a focus of our program and each year, the best resident-faculty research collaboration is honored with the Apuzzo Award at our graduation ceremony.
