Accreditation

West Virginia University is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.

The WVU School of Medicine pathologists' assistant program received the highest level of accreditation possible for a first-time applicant from the National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Science (NAACLS) in 2009—a full five years. Currently the program has been accredited by NAACLS for an additional seven years.
