High School ACCESS

Do you want to learn more about School of Medicine Health Professions majors? How about getting a jump start completing the degree while learning what it's all about?

Beginning as early as the summer before your sophomore year of high school, students with a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher can begin taking major-pursuant coursework through the WVU High School ACCESS program.

Students can earn up to 24 hours of college credit, either online, on-campus, or through dual enrollment programs within their high school - all at a reduced cost per credit hour. In addition to the major-specific courses listed below, students can take 100- or 200-level non-restricted courses, many of which fulfill WVU's General Education Foundations (GEF) requirements and/or School of Medicine Health Professions program requirements.
