DURATION: 2 or 4 weeks
MAXIMUM ENROLLMENT: 1 students
To provide an experience with the management of the Gyn cancer patient including preoperative and post-operative management, and the methods of surgical intervention available; To provide exposure to the multidisciplinary approach to care of Gyn cancer patients.
Methods to Achieve Objectives
Delivery of patient care in both the inpatient and outpatient setting. Responsibilities will be shared with the resident staff and supervised by the faculty.
Examination Procedures and Evaluation Criteria
Contact preceptor 2 weeks before the beginning of the rotation. You may contact Jennifer Cooperrider. If you are a visiting student you must report to Charissa Davis on the first day of rotation at 9:15 AM.
