Community/Population Health

During this block-long rotation, you will be exposed to the many facets of life as a primary care physician. You will spend time participating in departmental and organizational level meetings on the business of medicine, the day-to-day operation of clinics, the functions of a Patient Centered Medical Home, and value-based care models. You will spend time working with our Patient Advisory Committee.

Additionally, you will see patients in our multidisciplinary clinics (Intensive Diabetes, Metabolic, Breathe Better). You will care for patients outside of a traditional clinic setting as well during MUSHROOM (Multidisciplinary UnSHeltered Homeless Relief Outreach Of Morgantown) where you will assist with street rounds and at HealthRight, a free clinic for socioeconomically disadvantaged patients of all ages.
