Welcome!

This is your first step to becoming a fellow in the West Virginia University Geriatric Medicine Fellowship Program.

Our program participates in the NRMP Match. Applications will be accepted through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS). In order to be considered for an interview, a completed application must be submitted via ERAS before October 15th. Our program participates exclusively in the NRMP to select one Geriatric Medicine candidate.

A completed application must include:

ERAS Application Form
Medical School Transcript
Board Scores
Personal Statement
MSPE
Letters of Recommendation (minimum of 3 letters)

There will be one available position.

Our institution sponsors J-1 visas only. We do not sponsor H-1b visas.

2025 Application Process Timeline:

June 5, 2024: ERAS season begins
July 3, 2024: Fellowship applicants may begin submitting applications
July 17, 2024: Fellowship programs start receiving applications
August 21, 2024: NRMP – Match opens
August- October 2024: Interviews
September 25, 2024: Rank Order list opens
November 20, 2024: Rank Order list certification deadline
December 4, 2024: Match Day!
