To provide elective students with good knowledge of urology and its related in-patient activities, including evaluation of common urological complaints upon primary contact in the emergency room, out-patient service, and on the consultation service.

Methods to Achieve Objectives

Student will work with one or more of twelve practicing urologists, one of whom will be the primary preceptor on the urology service. Student will have full exposure to urology in-patient service, endoscopy, and operating rooms; will attend second and third Thursday morning conferences, Friday afternoon clinic, and fourth Thursday evening conference.

Pre-Rotation Instructions

If you are a visitng student you will need to meet with Charissa Davis at 9:15 AM on the first day for Orientation. Charissa will then walk you down to meet Peggy Petry the residency coordinator.
