Population Health Management in Primary Care Fellowship

West Virginia University School of Medicine’s departments of Family Medicine, Internal Medicine and Pediatrics are collaborating to offer the Population Health Management in Primary Care Fellowship. This is an innovative training program for the development of physician experts in population health and advanced primary care. The fellowship is a non-standard non-ACGME one year faculty development fellowship for board eligible primary care physicians.

One-Year Fellowship or Two-Year option to pursue Master’s Degree:

Fellows may select the two-year training option to pursue their choice of  a Master’s Degree in Public Health through collaboration with WVU School of Public Health or Master’s in Science with WVU Clinical Translational Sciences Institute The curricula is well suited to combine with the fellowship requirements and has a reasonable work assignment accommodation to maintain the required 50% clinical effort. The fellow is expected to qualify for the six credit hours per semester tuition waiver (based on University employment), with remaining tuition and program fees paid by the fellowship program.
