Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery

Objectives
To introduce medical students to the philosophy of plastic surgery and to care for basic surgical wounds.
Methods to Achieve Objectives
Continuous daily contact between preceptor and student in activities centered around patient care. Students will accompany preceptor at hospitals and will do follow-up on patients in the office.
Examination Procedures and Evaluation Criteria
Available from the preceptor.
Pre-Rotation Instructions
WVU Students/Visiting Students: 4th year coordinator will email students one week prior with assignment of team and time to report. Visiting students will first attend an Orientation before starting; you will receive an email one week prior with detailed Orientation information.
