Miriam Cremer, MD, MPH

"Global Prevention of Cervical Cancer"

Dr. Cremer is an Associate Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine.  She is also the President and Founder of Basic Health International.  Her lecture entitled "Global Prevention of Cervical Cancer" will be given on Monday, September 25 from 12:00 - 12:50 in Room 1905 of the Learning Center at the Health Sciences Center.

Christopher M. Dionne, MD, MS

"Guatemala: Global Health Perspective"

Dr. Dionne is a Global Health Track Resident in Internal Medicine at the West Virginia University School of Medicine.  His lecture entitled "Guatemala: Global Health Perspective" will be given on Tuesday, September 26 from 12:00 - 12:50 in Room 1901 of the Learning Center at the Health Sciences Center.

Josephine Reece, MD

"Hepatitis in Northern Rural Ghana"

Dr. Reece is an Associate Professor, Associate Program Director, and Director of the Global Health Track for Residents in the Department of Internal Medicine at the West Virginia University School of Medicine.  Her lecture entitled "Hepatitis in Northern Rural Ghana" will be given on Tuesday, September 26 from 12:00 - 12:50 in Room 1901 of the Learning Center at the Health Sciences Center.

"Clinica De Migrantes: Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness"

This documentary, directed by Maxim Pazdorovkin, will be shown on Wednesday, September 27 from 12:00 - 12:50 in Room 1905 of the Learning Center at the Health Sciences Center.  Comments will be made by Laura L. Jones, Executive Director of Milan Puskar Health Right.

Kara Piechowski, Pharm D. and Victoria Zambito

"Patient Care Experiences During A School of Pharmacy Rotation in South Africa"

Dr. Piechowski is a Clinical Pharmacist at Ruby Memorial Hospital.  Victoria Zambito is a student at the West Virginia University School of Pharmacy.  Their lecture entitled "Patient Care Experiences During A School of Pharmacy Rotation in South Africa" will be given on Thursday, September 28 from 12:00 - 12:50 in Room 1905 of the Learning Center at the Health Sciences Center.

"Global Nursing Experiences in Honduras and Nicaragua"

Kelly Lopez, Krystal White, Savannah Carter, and Jessica Gray are students at the West Virginia University School of Nursing.  Their lecture "Global Nursing Experiences in Honduras and Nicaragua" will be given on Thursday, September 28 from 12:00 - 12:50 in Room 1905 of the Learning Center at the Health Sciences Center.

VK Raju, MD, FRCS, FACS

"Pandemic of Diabetes and its Health Consequences - Beyond Retinopathy, Cataracts, and Glaucoma"

Dr. Raju is a Clinical Professor in the Department of Ophthalmology at the West Virginia University School of Medicine.  He is also the Founder and President of The Eye Foundation of America, and works at the Monongalia Eye Clinic.  His lecture "Pandemic of Diabetes and its Health Consequences - Beyond Retinopathy, Cataracts, and Glaucoma" will be given on Friday, September 29 from 12:00 - 12:50 in Room 1905 of the Learning Center at the Health Sciences Center.
