Neuroscience Retreat

The 2017 Neuroscience Retreat will be held on July 23 - 24, 2017, at Canaan Valley Resort, in Davis, WV. Activities during this two-day event will include poster sessions, podium talks, and discussions and presentations on special neuroscience-related topics.

This event is intended to boost awareness, facilitate multidisciplinary scientific exchange, and create cross-collaborations in the hopes of increasing translational research among our members, including scientists, researchers, clinicians, faculty members, postdoctoral fellows, and graduate students.

We will cover lodging accommodations for all of our members staying overnight on Sunday (July 23), provided they share a room with another attendee. Canaan Valley Resort has agreed to extend the conference rate to anyone interested in staying either Monday night (July 24) or both Monday and Tuesday (7/25) nights, as a personal expense. So, bring your family or significant other and enjoy the resort after the Retreat!

Please note: Due to another large-scale event, Canaan Valley Resort is entirely sold out on Saturday, July 22. There are a select few other overnight options available in the area, but these external options are not at a discounted rate. Contact Erica Stewart if interested in staying near the Canaan Valley Resort area (either Thomas or Davis, WV) on Saturday, July 22, and she can give you a few options to make your own reservation.

Registration for the 2017 Neuroscience Retreat is now closed.
