Low vision student enrolled in CVRP practices using specialized iPadCVRP's Technology Institute of Learning provides the opportunity for students to receive intense specialized training using technology based on individual student needs. Students with low vision receive an iPad Pro 12.9”, Apple Pencil and a Bluetooth keyboard case. Sessions are held to focus on using the built-in accessibility features, which are specialized apps for students to use in the classroom. Students with blindness have received a braille notetaker or an iPod touch with training using voiceover and specialized apps. Staff work with the students on independent living and other skills needed to be independent adults while facilitating social interactions where the students can also learn from one another.
