Objectives

To gain experience in caring for critically ill patients in the intensive care unit and to understand the physiologic alterations in the critically ill.

Methods to Achieve Objectives

Guided, direct participation in critical care.

Examination Procedures and Evaluation Criteria

Daily observation.

Pre-Rotation Instructions

WVU Students/Visiting Students: 4^th year coordinator will email students one week prior with assignment of team and time to report.  Visiting students will first attend an Orientation before starting; you will receive an email one week prior with detailed Orientation information.
