Ambulatory Pediatrics
LOCATION: Charleston Area Medical Center, Charleston, West Virginia

Objectives
- To be able to develop a suitable data base for patients presenting in the various pediatric clinics for health maintenance or for illness;
- To be able to construct a problem list from this data base and develop a plan for care;
- To develop perspectives on the differences between ambulatory and hospital pediatrics;
- To experience subspecialty pediatrics as a comparison to general ambulatory pediatrics.
METHODS TO ACHIEVE OBJECTIVES:
These objectives will be reached by attendance at all of the clinic sessions, including pediatric, newborn, and adolescent, with assigned responsibilities as indicated above. Attendance in subspecialty clinic can also be arranged during part of the rotation.

ON THE FIRST DAY OF THE ROTATION REPORT TO:
WVU Students/Visiting Students: 4th year coordinator will email students one week prior with assignment and time to report. Visiting students will first attend an Orientation before starting; you will receive an email one week prior with detailed Orientation information.
