Carl Cather, Jr. Award for Community Service

Established in 2001 by the children of West Virginia University School of Medicine alumni, Carl Cather Jr., to recognize the student who has demonstrated outstanding service to the community and the citizens of West Virginia. The award consists of a desk clock.

Dr. Cather practiced Otolaryngology in Morgantown for many years, and also previously served the School of Medicine as Chair of Otolaryngology. He has been an integral part of the Morgantown community for many years.
