David Z. Morgan Mentor Award
Sponsored by the WVU School of Medicine Alumni Association
This award was established in honor of graduate and former Associate Dean for Student and Curricular Affairs, David Z. Morgan, MD, class of 1950. It was established in 1986 by the Alumni Association Executive Council with the selection made by a committee of WVU graduates who are currently completing their residency programs at West Virginia University Hospitals and Charleston Area Medical Center.
The recipient should be "a teacher with the ability to understand, inspire and develop in students the qualities needed to be competent and compassionate physicians."
